Rennes – Seville direct flight: an Andalusian weekend, Friday to Monday
From 26 October 2026, Transavia launches a direct Rennes – Seville flight, twice a week throughout the winter season. No more connecting through Nantes or Paris to reach Andalusia: the flight takes about two hours.

Friday to Monday: three nights for one day off
The schedule works nicely: fly out on Friday, back on Monday, and you get a three-night long weekend in Seville with only one day off work. The other way round, Monday out and Friday back gives four weekday nights, ideal for quieter sightseeing and cheaper accommodation.

Tapas, the local way
In Seville you don't sit down for one long dinner: you hop from bar to bar and order a few tapas at each. Try espinacas con garbanzos (spinach with chickpeas), salmorejo, montaditos and a glass of sherry. Locals eat late, rarely before 9 pm.
A day in Córdoba
With three or four nights in town, a trip to Córdoba is easy: the high-speed train gets there in under an hour. Go for the Mezquita, the former great mosque turned cathedral, and the old Jewish quarter. Visit the Mezquita

A bus links Seville airport to the city centre in about thirty minutes. Taxis are faster but noticeably more expensive.
